After 3 years of implementing the “Godmother” program, the Women’s Union from the town to the grassroots level has mobilized over 1.5 billion VND to sponsor and care for 493 orphans and students in especially difficult circumstances; the highest level of care is 12 million VND/year, at least 2 million VND/child/year.

Through the model of "Sharing love breakfast", all levels of the association have mobilized members, women and people to come to breakfast to support, creating a fund to "Sponsor children" orphans and those in special circumstances with a large amount of money.

Statistics from 2022 to present, 100% of communes/wards and women's associations have organized 258 "Sharing Love Breakfast" points, attracting over 82,000 people to support, helping to set up a fund of nearly 3 billion VND (after deducting expenses), creating conditions to sponsor 228 orphans and children in difficult circumstances; giving 2,036 gifts to women's association members and children in difficult circumstances.

Typically, the Women's Union of Dong Duc village (Dien Tho) sold 315kg of noodles, raising over 60 million VND; the Women's Union of Ngoc Tam block (Dien An) sold 325kg of noodles, raising 38.5 million VND; the Women's Union of Thanh Quyt 4 (Dien Thang Trung) sold 495kg of noodles, raising 47 million VND...

From the above funds, the Women's Union of Dien Tho commune has connected to sponsor 70 children, the Women's Union of Dien Tien commune has connected to sponsor 58 children, the Women's Union of Vinh Dien ward has connected to sponsor 50 children, the Women's Union of Dien Ngoc ward has connected to sponsor 39 children... the level of support is from 2-12 million VND/year/child.

In addition, many enterprises also accept to be "Godmothers" to support, help and take care of orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances such as Hoa Thang Private Enterprise regularly sponsors 20 orphans and children in special circumstances, with a support level of 5 million VND/year/child; Quang Nam Lottery Company sponsors 5 children, with a support level of 3 million VND/year/child; The People's Procuracy of the town sponsors 3 children, with a support level of 3 million VND/year/child...

Up to now, among 493 disadvantaged children who have been sponsored, 337 have achieved good and excellent student results, some have won first and second prizes in provincial excellent student competitions; some have won consolation prizes in the Northern Delta and Coastal Olympic Competition or have been excellent students for many consecutive years...

On this occasion, the Town Women's Union also commended individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the "Godmother" program and the "Sharing Love Breakfast" model for the period 2022 - 2024.
