Recently, Thanh Xuan district has accelerated the construction progress of key projects in the area. According to the report, by July 31, the district had issued 145 decisions to enforce the land acquisition decision to implement the project of renovating and embellishing the historical relic of Go Dong Thay and the project of renovating and expanding Nguyen Tuan street according to the planning.

The district also issued 31 compulsory inventory decisions and 24 decisions to enforce the compulsory inventory decisions of the Thanh Xuan district funeral home project.

In addition, the District People's Committee also issued 681 notices of land recovery from organizations, households and individuals under the investment project to build the 2.5 beltway from Nguyen Trai (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong.

According to Mr. Dung, in August, the district will continue to implement many important tasks to develop the local socio-economy. In particular, the district focuses on implementing land acquisition and clearance for key projects including: Road to cluster 3 schools in Thanh Xuan Nam ward; project to restore and embellish the historical relic Go Dong Thay; project to build the new urban area Phung Khoang; project to renovate and expand Nguyen Tuan street according to the planning; investment in the construction of belt road 2.5 (section from National Highway 6 to Dam Hong).

It is known that the project to renovate and expand Nguyen Tuan Street was approved by Thanh Xuan District People's Committee on August 31, 2018. On August 20, 2020, Thanh Xuan District People's Committee continued to approve the project's construction drawing design in Decision No. 1928/QD-UBND.

According to approval, the starting point of the project intersects Nguyen Trai Street, the end point is at lane 162 Nguyen Tuan with a total area of ​​14,334m2, 720m long, expanded on the basis of the existing road. The route will have a cross-section of 21m, including a 15m wide roadway and 2 3m wide sidewalks.

Once completed, the project is expected to reduce traffic congestion, improve urban landscape and create momentum for socio-economic development in Thanh Xuan district.

However, the project has only partially implemented site clearance, leading to many bottlenecks and frequent congestion during rush hours. The reason is that some households do not agree with the compensation and relocation support plan.
