Established in April 2024, Binh Duong Provincial Digital Transformation Center has successfully completed its assigned roles and tasks in advising the Department of Information and Communications (MIC), while effectively implementing the unit's key tasks.

The results achieved from the Center's activities have significantly contributed to the overall success of the Department of Information and Communications in building e-government, promoting digital transformation and administrative reform.
Promoting e-government development
Specifically, in the management and operation of the Document Management software, the Center has monitored the system operation for 483 units, ensuring the software operates stably; Coordinated with VNPT to deploy configuration and training for 330 schools under the Department of Education and Training of 9 districts and cities; Configured interconnection and issued interconnection codes for 330 preschools, secondary schools, and junior high schools to send and receive documents.
Update Binh Duong's electronic identification code for more than 500 agencies of ministries, branches, provinces, cities and departments under provinces and cities. Adjust, configure and add new personnel to agencies.
From January 1, 2024 to present, Binh Duong Province Digital Transformation Center has monitored the sending and receiving of electronic documents with more than 302,938 documents sent and received via the network environment. Documents sent to other provinces have a success rate of 98%.
The Center also plays an important role in implementing the province's administrative procedure settlement information system.
Accordingly, from January 1, 2024 to present, the Administrative Procedure Information System (APIS) of Binh Duong province recorded a total of 859,606 records, of which 730,689 records (85%) were processed online.
The system has successfully performed 535,118 citizen information searches from the national database and synchronized 99% of records with the National Public Service Portal.
In the field of online public services (DVCTT), Binh Duong has deployed 1,877 public services, including 828 partially online public services, 679 fully online public services and 370 online information services.
The province's administrative procedure settlement information system has been connected to the National Public Service Portal, synchronously implementing 2,022 administrative procedures, 454 fields and 17,337 paper forms.
The Center has also configured and updated 786/1,488 electronic forms (eForms) with generated records. The total number of digitized records is 568,676 records, with a rate of 97.4%; the total number of records synchronized to the National Public Service Portal is over 687,74.
According to the assessment results of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Information System for handling administrative procedures of Binh Duong province ranked 1/63 provinces and cities.
Ensuring information security for digital transformation
Ensuring information security to serve digital transformation is also a focus of Binh Duong Province Digital Transformation Center in 2024.
Accordingly, the Information Security Monitoring Center (SOC) of Binh Duong province has detected and blocked 33,836 connections; handled 711,091 malware, through connecting and sharing malware data from 28 agencies (9 districts, towns, cities, 19 departments and branches) in the province.
11 agencies (including 9 districts and cities; Provincial Data Center; Provincial Party Committee Office) have deployed information security monitoring and data sharing connection with SOC, reaching 100% connection and full sharing rate.
Network security activities are focused on, with annual level 3 information security inspection and approval; to date, 233 files of agencies and units in Binh Duong have been approved.
The Digital Transformation Center has also conducted a comprehensive, annual information security assessment for the Provincial Data Center.
The Binh Duong Provincial Digital Transformation Center also coordinated with the Vietnam Cyber Emergency Response Center (VNCERT/CC) to organize a training course to improve information security assessment and testing skills, with the participation of members of the province's Cyber Security Response Team; organized the Binh Duong Provincial Information Security Workshop in 2024 and summarized the practical exercise on information security with the participation of leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, PA05 Department, VNCERT/CC, security companies and specialized officers in charge of information security and information technology.
