Practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the communes of Phu Huu, Vinh Loc, Vinh Hau, Vinh Truong, Phuoc Hung and Khanh Binh (An Phu district) organized the handover of 83 houses to poor and near-poor households and revolutionary contributors with housing difficulties supported by the Program for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in 2025.

The 83 newly built and repaired houses all have an area of 32 square meters or more, with tiled floors or stilt houses, zinc frames, corrugated iron walls and roofs... Specifically, Phu Huu commune has 21 houses, Vinh Loc commune has 14 houses, Vinh Hau commune has 21 houses, Vinh Truong commune has 13 houses, Phuoc Hung commune has 7 houses and Khanh Binh commune has 7 houses.

Of these, 27 houses were repaired (each house was supported with 30 million VND) and 56 new houses were built (each house was supported with 60 million VND); the total implementation cost was over 4.1 billion VND from the support source according to Decision 21/2024/QD-TTg, dated November 22, 2024 of the Prime Minister; the rest was contributed by the families.

District and commune leaders congratulate people on having solid and spacious houses.

On this occasion, the leaders of An Phu district and the authorities of the communes congratulated and hoped that the households would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition of the heroic homeland of An Phu; enhance the will of self-reliance and self-improvement in life and continue to make many contributions to the construction and development of the homeland.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the People's Committee of An Phu District acknowledged and commended the efforts of the locality and the contributions of volunteer teams and benefactors who joined hands with the locality to complete the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (phase 1). In addition, the households were given essential gifts by the local government and benefactors, contributing to stabilizing their lives.
