The application of technology at these sites helps people and tourists access information conveniently and vividly, while opening up new directions in efforts to preserve and spread heritage values using digital tools.

At each relic, a small board with a wireless connection chip is designed in harmony with the landscape, as a modern highlight in a cultural space rich in identity.

With just a light touch of a smartphone, residents and visitors can enter the world of digital heritage: from historical information, characters associated with the relic, to images, videos, location maps and convenient tour suggestions.

All content is carefully compiled and authentic, providing an authentic and lively experience. With wireless connection technology (NFC) combined with digital data, access becomes easy and synchronized, especially useful for visitors to better understand the value of heritage, contributing to the preservation and dissemination of the cultural and historical beauty of the places they are visiting.

Ms. Trieu Thi Huong, a tour guide at the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center, said: “Having smart check-in boards right at the relics is very helpful. In the absence of a tour guide, visitors can still fully grasp basic and interesting information about the relics. This contributes significantly to conveying the heritage value to a large number of visitors of all ages and regions.”

At the Ho Dynasty Citadel, a unique stone architectural work of Vietnam, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage since 2011, the check-in point of the project "Love Vietnam" is located in the center, both convenient for technological operations and maintaining harmony with the ancient space of the relic site.

Mr. Trinh Huu Anh, Deputy Director of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center, shared: “This wireless connection technology is truly a practical solution. It not only creates conditions for tourists to learn information but also increases interactivity, stimulating the interest of young people in cultural heritage.”

Not only does it share information about the relic site, each station also integrates an automatic photo capture function and issues electronic check-in certificates, creating conditions for visitors to capture memorable moments at tourist attractions.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, a tourist in Thanh Hoa province, shared: "The interactive point of Nhan Dan Newspaper is great, very suitable for the general trend of young people to check-in, take selfies wherever they go, and then send along their feelings about their ancestors, about their pride in their homeland and country."

Sharing the same view, Ms. Do Thi Dinh, a tourist from Hanoi, shared that wireless connection technology not only helps her understand the place she visits but also brings a new experience: “The feeling of taking check-in photos is very interesting. In addition, all the information I need is available right at the tourist destination. That is very modern and convenient.”

The project "Love Vietnam" is being implemented nationwide by Nhan Dan Newspaper, aiming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

This is one of the key activities, with profound meaning not only in expressing gratitude to history, but also contributing to spreading the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam through the lens of modern technology.

The fusion of technology and culture creates a new form of experience - a smart, vibrant and emotional travel space.

“The first time I came to Lam Kinh, I was very moved when I burned incense to commemorate King Le Loi. What surprised me was that with just one tap on the phone to the check-in point, all information about the relic, from history, architecture to related stories, appeared clearly. I felt like I was directly connected to the flow of history, it was so special and meaningful," said Mr. Vu Hong Tuyen, a tourist from Hai Phong city.

With 858 historical, cultural and scenic sites ranked, including 1 world heritage site, 5 special national sites, 139 national sites and 713 provincial sites, Thanh Hoa is considered a locality with great potential for developing cultural tourism. Pioneering the application of digital transformation in tourism is a step in the right direction, in line with the trends and requirements of the new era.

Ms. Bui Anh Tuyet, Deputy Director of the Center for Historical Research and Cultural Heritage Conservation of Thanh Hoa, commented: The trend of digital transformation in the tourism sector is inevitable. The project of Nhan Dan Newspaper is a very meaningful model, effectively connecting technology and heritage. It not only helps localities effectively exploit cultural resources but also creates new values suitable to the tastes of modern tourists.

Thanh Hoa province aims to welcome 15 million tourists by 2025, including about 1 million international visitors; total tourism revenue will reach VND53,000 billion, contributing about 10% of the province's GRDP.

To achieve this goal, Thanh Hoa is promoting the application of digital technology in tourism, including digitizing heritage data, developing digital tourism maps, electronic ticket booking systems, virtual reality tour experiences, and connecting tourists with the local service ecosystem.

Mr. Do Quang Trong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, said: The project "Love Vietnam" opens a new direction in the way we preserve, introduce and spread the beauty of the country to people and tourists at home and abroad. Through practical implementation in recent times, with the integrated wireless connection technology board, visitors only need a light touch to access a rich digital data warehouse, including images, stories, videos, location maps and detailed tourist information. It is not just a simple check-in, it is a vivid, modern and inspiring digital cultural experience for visitors.

In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution reshaping every field, tourism cannot stand aside. Thanh Hoa, with the support of projects such as “Love Vietnam”, is gradually transforming itself into an attractive destination not only for its landscape and heritage but also for its modernity, friendliness and intelligence in serving tourists.

This is a testament to an innovative, sustainable and inspiring mindset, where past and future blend, where history and technology come together to create memorable journeys.
