Trang An Festival 2025 organized by Ninh Binh province   to continue to honor the historical depth and eternal value of Trang An Scenic Complex, to arouse the revolutionary tradition, national pride of many generations of people along with the cultural, historical and religious values ​​bearing the unique identity of an ancient capital in the heart of the Heritage, aiming to build Hoa Lu into a Millennium Heritage City, a creative city, a cultural and tourism industrial center of regional and international stature, a green lung and a growth pole for the Northern Delta.

This year's Trang An Festival is held with many special activities such as: Drum performance at Tam Quan gate and Dragon procession from Tam Quan gate to Trang An wharf. Water procession ceremony, combined with special art programs on Sao Khe river; incense offering ceremony at Suoi Tien temple.

The special art program was organized with nearly 20 live stages, with the participation of more than 600 artists and actors. Trang An Festival brings together a variety of unique traditional art forms from all over the country, notably: Bac Ninh Quan Ho, Hue Royal Court Music, Tay Nguyen stone lithophone, gong performances, Kim Son drum dance, Xuan Pha performance, Cheo singing, Xam singing and dances of the Red Dao, San Diu, Lo Lo ethnic groups...

Trang An Festival - a unique cultural feature, closely associated with the outstanding global values ​​of the World Heritage Site of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, is the Forest Opening Ceremony (Phát Lát) organized to convey the thinking of living in harmony and respecting nature of our ancestors. This is the message about protecting forests, preserving ecosystems and sustainable development - which is especially important for a World Cultural and Natural Heritage like Trang An.

The festival also has a profound spiritual meaning, expressing respect to gods and ancestors. This is an opportunity for local people and domestic and international tourists to offer prayers for national peace, favorable weather, bountiful harvests, and at the same time honoring the ancestors who have contributed to the discovery and protection of the sacred land of Trang An Heritage.

Trang An, interspersed among limestone mountains, is a system of valleys, water caves, vegetation, and primeval tropical forests. It was the cradle of prehistoric people more than 30,000 years ago and the capital of the Dai Co Viet State, the first centralized feudal state of Vietnam.
