Representative of the Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute, Mr. Le Nhu Thinh shared that the technologies and innovations that have been used in fruit and vegetable production such as invitro plant tissue culture and propagation technology have created a large number of high-quality, genetically uniform seedlings, as well as the ability to restore degraded, disease-free plant varieties for production; the use of tissue culture for propagation also brings the advantage of avoiding drought, storms and floods; the developed seedlings have higher resistance. In particular, cell tissue culture can be used to save the embryos of some difficult-to-grow and grow plant species, helping to protect rare and endangered plant varieties...

In terms of cultivation, transferring a foreign bacterial gene (such as nitrogen fixation gene, herbicide resistance gene, insect resistance gene, disease resistance gene, etc.) into plant cells will give the plant special qualities. In addition, effectively applying drying and frying technology in vegetable processing such as heat pump drying, freeze drying, continuous vacuum frying equipment, etc.
