Inspection team at drug business establishment

The inspection team was decided to be established by Lam Dong Department of Health, led by Mr. Doan Quang Huy - Chief Inspector of the Department of Health, with members from the Provincial Food Safety Department, Team 5 of the Market Management Department; Inspector of the Department of Health.

The mission of the delegation is to inspect compliance with legal regulations in the business of trading in dairy products, health protection foods and medicines in Lam Dong province; and to take legal action against establishments that commit violations.

Inspection time is from April 29 to May 31, 2025 in districts and cities in Lam Dong province.

Up to this point, the delegation has inspected 18 pharmaceutical businesses and has not discovered any cases of counterfeit drugs according to the list announced by the Ministry of Health and has not discovered any business establishments selling fake milk.

Inspection team works with pharmaceutical business owners

Previously, Lam Dong Department of Health sent a document requesting the People's Committees of districts and cities; Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade; Lam Dong Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate in inspecting and monitoring food and nutritional products (powdered milk) that are counterfeit.

Based on the official dispatch of the Food Safety Department on the recall of food and nutritional products (powdered milk) that are counterfeit. Accordingly, 12 food and nutritional products (powdered milk) of Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Hacofood Group Pharmaceutical Nutrition Joint Stock Company were concluded to be counterfeit and 72 other products are under further investigation.

In order to control the circulation in the market, help people recognize and avoid buying fake food, not ensuring the quality of these products, Lam Dong Department of Health requests units to coordinate, direct departments, offices, and related units to immediately implement specific contents: Review, inspect and promptly recall all 12 counterfeit products if found circulating in the area; strictly handle cases of violations according to regulations to ensure deterrence; at the same time, publicize the handling results on mass media so that people know and choose safe products.

Continue to strictly implement the contents under the direction of the Department of Food Safety on strengthening inspection and post-inspection of fake and poor quality food; the document of the Department of Health of Lam Dong province on strengthening inspection and post-inspection to detect, prevent and handle fake and poor quality food and Official Dispatch No. 41/CD-TTg dated April 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister on handling cases of production and trade of fake medicines and health protection foods.

People are advised not to use 72 milk products under investigation by Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Hacofood Group Nutrition Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company until the final conclusion of the Police Agency.
