Attending the event were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; representatives of Plan Office in Quang Binh and students from some schools in the area.

At the forum, delegates watched a report on the current situation of violence, social evils, and sexual abuse in the past time. According to information, in 4 years (2020-2023), the whole province had 93 children abused. In 2024, there were 20 cases of child abuse in the province and as of the first quarter of 2025, there have been 3 cases.

On February 28, 2025, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province approved the Procedure for supporting, intervening and handling cases of children suffering from violence, social abuse and sexual abuse in the province.

Participating in the forum, students expressed their opinions, discussed situations presented by the program, and participated in dialogues and exchanges with leaders of departments, agencies, unions, and psychological experts on issues of concern in preventing and combating child abuse, violence, and sexual abuse.

Educational psychologists also provided students with knowledge and skills in self-defense, escape, and protection against the risks of violence, social abuse, and sexual abuse.

The forum is a program under the project "Community-based model to support children who suffer from violence and abuse in cyberspace by 2025", creating conditions for children to participate in contributing opinions, presenting their views, expressing their wishes on issues related to children; raising awareness, responsibility and actions of all levels, sectors, organizations and the whole community in preventing and combating violence, social abuse and sexual abuse of children; ensuring that children live in a safe, healthy environment and develop comprehensively.
