According to the 2018 General Education Program, Information Technology is one of the compulsory subjects in primary school from grades 3 to 5.
Information technology equips students with basic knowledge and skills in information technology, helping them become familiar with the digital environment and develop logical and creative thinking.
However, in some schools, including Vat Lai Primary School, the facilities are still limited, computers are lacking and degraded, significantly affecting the teaching of Information Technology in particular and the quality of education in general.
To ensure that Vat Lai Primary School has enough computers and IT equipment before the new school year, Ba Vi District People's Committee coordinated with benefactors to organize a program to receive, support and donate computers and IT equipment to Vat Lai Primary School.

Mr. Do Manh Hung, Chairman of Ba Vi District People's Committee, on behalf of the district leaders, teachers and students of Vat Lai Primary School, thanked the donors for their attention.
Ba Vi is a district far from the center, very difficult, large area, poor facilities, lack of computers, so with everyone's attention, the district would like to acknowledge and thank the feelings of the children of Ba Vi homeland as well as the benefactors.
"I hope that the school as well as the leaders of Vat Lai Commune People's Committee will continue to direct and implement the new school year program with new equipment for good teaching and learning. I hope that the children of Ba Vi and the donors will continue to turn to their homeland and have more programs like today," Mr. Do Manh Hung emphasized.

Mr. Ngo Tien Bac, a native of Ba Vi, said that those who are far from home want to contribute a small part to help students access new technology, scientific research, and digital transformation. Study to develop, mature, become useful to society and contribute to the homeland.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Ms. Phung Thi Binh, Principal of Vat Lai Primary School, shared that Vat Lai Primary School has more than 1,300 students, studying in 3 areas, and needs 4 computer rooms to accommodate students' learning. Of which, there is 1 computer room with 18 computers that have been used for many years, making training difficult.

Previously, the school received 8 sets of computers from benefactors and today, the benefactors donated 15 sets of computers to students of Vat Lai Primary School. This is a very meaningful gift from the benefactors to the teachers and students of the school.
"On behalf of the students and teachers of the school, I would like to deeply thank the district leaders, departments, agencies, unions, and benefactors who have helped and donated, and I promise to effectively use the gifts you have given," Ms. Phung Thi Binh emphasized.
