On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, authorized by General Secretary To Lam, on the afternoon of April 29, a working delegation of the Central Committee led by Comrade Vo Thanh Hung, Deputy Chief of the Central Party Office, visited and presented gifts from General Secretary To Lam to war invalids and sick soldiers at Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center. Accompanying them were leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Dao Quang Khai, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province.

Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center was established in 1965. Over the past 60 years, the Center has cared for, treated, and rehabilitated more than 1,000 wounded and sick soldiers.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao Quang Khai presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers.
Currently, the Center is caring for, treating and implementing policies and regimes for 87 seriously wounded and sick soldiers, with a disability rate of 81% or higher.
Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Vo Thanh Hung and provincial leaders visited wounded and sick soldiers.
Comrade Vo Thanh Hung, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Office, kindly visited and expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of the wounded and sick soldiers in the cause of fighting and defending the Fatherland. He hoped that the wounded and sick soldiers would continue to uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, actively treat their injuries, overcome difficulties in life, and be a shining example for the younger generation to follow. He requested that the Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the Center in terms of facilities and improve the quality of health care for wounded and sick soldiers.
