Informing VietNamNet, Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that after the additional recruitment process in the whole city, 1,400 candidates passed the exam out of a total target of 2,203, reaching a rate of 63.54%.

According to HCMC regulations, the condition for participating in additional enrollment is that students do not pass any of their admission wishes to public high schools and must have entrance exam scores of 3 subjects: Math + Literature + Foreign Language + priority points (if any) greater than or equal to the standard score of the 3rd wish of the school they want to register for enrollment.

Therefore, some top schools have "empty-handed" in the supplementary recruitment such as Nguyen Thuong Hien High School, Le Quy Don High School because the standard score is too high. Students with scores equal to the supplementary recruitment score have also been admitted to other schools.

Helping high schools in remote areas to recruit enough students compared to the assigned quota, ensuring better operating conditions compared to previous school years...
