The fire created a high column of smoke. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene to control the fire.

According to initial information, the fire broke out at 7:44 a.m. on August 5 at Khang Trang Styrofoam Company, Hapro Industrial Park (Le Chi Commune, Gia Lam District, Hanoi). At that time, the fire broke out at the warehouse storing foam and plastic in Khang Trang Company.

Immediately after, the fire spread, causing black smoke to rise tens of meters high. Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Gia Lam District Police dispatched fire trucks and forces to the scene.

By 10am, the fire was basically under control. According to the reporter's observation, the burned area was 3 rows of factories, each area was about 200 m2. In total, the burned area was nearly 600 m2.

The metal roof above was severely damaged by the high temperature. Firefighters are still spraying water to cool and prevent the fire from spreading.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
