As a son of Thanh Tung, Dam Doi district, a locality with a large ethnic minority population, life was very difficult, so Mr. Thach Si Say Xam Phol (currently a 2nd grade teacher at Tan Dien B Primary School) was determined to study for a brighter future. After graduating from high school, Mr. Xam Phol studied the Khmer general education program from 1989-1991, then returned to Thanh Tung to teach at Tan Dien B Primary School until now.

Master Huu Sep shared: "About 30 years ago, when I was practicing at the pagoda, I saw that there was a great need for children to learn Khmer, so I volunteered to open a free class to teach Khmer during the summer. It was mainly in the form of literate people teaching illiterate children, to preserve the national language and writing. In 2014, with the attention of the province, I was given the opportunity to participate in a pedagogical training class to teach more accurately and better. This class has continued to this day, with over 50 students attending each summer."

Quite a number of ethnic minority children from Duong Dao and Cay Kho hamlets, Ho Thi Ky commune come to Rach Giong pagoda to learn Khmer in the summer.

Every summer, the province has 15-20 Khmer language teaching points, with over 20 teachers participating in teaching, and over 500 students studying. Mr. Thach Si Say Xam Phol has over 34 years of experience, and Mr. Huu Sep has over 30 years of dedication, teaching the ethnic writing and language... These are 2 of many valuable examples, devoted to the cause of educating people, contributing greatly to preserving and promoting the Khmer language and writing, helping ethnic children have a healthy learning environment.
