In Ho Chi Minh City, many universities have planned to announce admission scores on August 17.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, said that the school will announce the admission scores on the afternoon of August 17, then admitted candidates will enroll from August 19 and the admission period is expected to be extended for about a week after that, the school will not consider additional admissions.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (VNU-HCM) also announced the benchmark scores on the afternoon of August 17. Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Hoai Thang, Head of the University Training Department, said the school will announce the benchmark scores in the late afternoon.

Many other universities such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, University of Natural Sciences (VNU-HCM), Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Gia Dinh University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Nha Trang University... are also expected to announce their admission scores from the afternoon of August 17.

In addition to announcing admission scores, some universities have provided guidance on admission procedures.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has provided information guiding admitted candidates to complete online admission procedures. Accordingly, candidates download electronic admission notices, pay tuition fees, declare online admission documents, register for dormitory accommodation (if necessary), and look up class schedules.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates admitted in the first round must complete online admission confirmation no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27, 2024. Regarding admission procedures at schools, each school has its own time frame, so candidates admitted must follow information and instructions from the universities.
