FPT University is the first higher education institution to announce the admission scores for the 2024 regular university program based on high school graduation exam results.

Specifically, the standard score for admission to the school is 21 points, rounded to 2 decimal places. This score includes the score in Math and the 2 highest scores in the following subjects: Literature, Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Civic Education, plus priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

In 2024, FPT University will enroll students in the following majors: Information Technology (Semiconductor Design, Digital Automotive Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Information Security, Digital Design), Business Administration (Digital Marketing, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Finance); Communication Technology (Multimedia Communications, Public Relations), English Language, Japanese Language, Korean Language and Chinese Language.

Notably, the school announced to recruit 1,000 students for the Semiconductor Circuit Design major and grant scholarships from 50% for the first two semesters to 100% of the curriculum for all candidates.

Cao Thang Technical College announced that the highest standard score on a 30-point scale is for Automotive Engineering Technology with 21 points. This score increased by 0.75 points compared to 2023.

The lowest level to enter the school is the Computer Accounting (Business Accounting) major with a standard score of 12 points.

The Foreign Economic College, main campus in Ho Chi Minh City, this year has a benchmark score of 16-17 points for the general education system. The benchmark score for the high-quality system is 15 points. At the Can Tho campus, the benchmark score for all majors is 15 points.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, after completing the payment of university admission fees, the virtual filtering period will take place from August 13 to August 17. Universities across the country will announce the benchmark scores in the next 2 days.

By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round of admission results.

Successful candidates must confirm their admission online for the first round on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admission System no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27. One day later (August 28), schools will announce the additional admission round.

From September to December, schools across the country will review and update the list of admitted candidates and enroll them according to regulations.

By December 31 at the latest, schools must report 2024 enrollment results.
