Candidates for this method are those who have participated in and won prizes in the national excellent student competition or the national science and technology competition, won prizes (first, second, third) in provincial or city-level excellent students in grade 11 or grade 12, and candidates in the specialized system of national key high schools and specialized high schools.
Method 2 is the admission method using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, with 2 groups of candidates: the group of candidates using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; the group of candidates using a combination of the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and international foreign language certificates.
For the group of candidates using a combination of the 2025 high school graduation exam results and international foreign language certificates, candidates must have the 2025 high school graduation exam scores of 2 subjects: math - physics, math - chemistry, or math - literature; for high-quality commercial language programs, the school only considers candidates with scores of 2 subjects: math - literature.
Method 3 is to use domestic and international competency assessment certificates. For the group of candidates using the HSA competency assessment test results of Hanoi National University, Foreign Trade University notes: part 3 - science, candidates are required to choose 2 fields of physics and chemistry to apply for standard programs except for standard commercial language programs; part 3 - English to apply for standard commercial language programs.
Method 4 is direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
This year, the total enrollment target for full-time undergraduate students of Foreign Trade University is 4,150 (last year it was 4,130), including the main campus in Hanoi, campus II in Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh campus. The school's enrollment time is implemented according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
