In April, the whole country is looking forward to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). On every street corner, many cafes in Phu Tho province have been decorated with the Party flag, the National flag and the Liberation flag to celebrate this important holiday.

As soon as they set foot in the gate of Xom Cafe, Viet Tri city, looking up, many customers were amazed by the space filled with rows of Party flags, red flags with yellow stars fluttering, creating a brilliant and solemn scene. In particular, on each cup of water served to customers, the shop cleverly pasted the image of the national flag.

Ms. Thuong Thuong, Cao Xa commune, Lam Thao district shared: “Last weekend, my family and I went to Xom Cafe and I was very impressed with the space full of flags. As soon as I entered the shop, a very special feeling arose in my heart, that is pride, love for the homeland. Especially as April 30th approaches, being immersed in an atmosphere full of history and national spirit like this, I appreciate more and more what our ancestors fought and sacrificed to regain independence for the country. That is a sacred milestone for the whole nation”.

Still the familiar daily drinks, but this time when coming to experience at Hyotan Tea & Coffee, Viet Tri city, customers will be served drinks shaped like the national flag. The red flag color not only evokes heroic memories but also helps the younger generation understand more about an important period of the nation. Ms. Phung Huong - the owner of the shop shared: "With the desire to look forward to the anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, the shop has received enthusiastic response from many young people. We hope to contribute to spreading the spirit of patriotism and national pride through every detail of decoration and activities here. For me personally, patriotism is not a trend but forever. I want to spread that message to everyone".

At Thanh Son cafe, Thanh Son town, Thanh Son district, the Party flag and the national flag are also brightly decorated. In the space of the stilt house, the harmonious arrangement of colors and lights makes this place not only imbued with the national spirit and love for the country, but also an ideal place for guests to check-in on this special occasion. Ms. Thu Hien - the owner of the shop said: The shop has implemented the decoration idea for the April 30 holiday in advance, with the desire to inspire young people to love their homeland and country, not forgetting the difficult but also very proud historical periods of our nation. Since the idea became a reality, I am very happy that the shop has been welcomed and strongly responded by many young people, and even older customers who come to take pictures, expressing their excitement about the lively space of the shop.

In the decorated space, with familiar drinks and cakes, the cafe owners put on the red flag, making everyone who comes to experience it feel more proud of the country and the Vietnamese people. Now, cafes are not simply places to enjoy delicious drinks or meet friends, but have become ideal destinations, special cultural spaces for everyone to "check in" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. The image of the Party flag, the red flag with a yellow star proudly carries pride, connecting the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people towards the important historical holiday of the nation.
