On the afternoon of April 29, the Department of Health of Ca Mau province organized the 6th Advanced Model Conference (2020-2025) to summarize and commend outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement of the health sector in the past 5 years.

After 5 years of thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW, Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Politburo, the Law on Emulation and Commendation and related documents, the emulation movement in the health sector of Ca Mau province has had many positive changes, going into depth, closely linked with the political tasks of the sector.

Emulation and reward work is carried out in accordance with regulations, publicly, democratically, promptly, promoting education and setting examples. The emulation movement "Excellent workers, creative workers" is regularly deployed at grassroots trade unions, becoming a driving force to encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers (CCVCLĐ) to actively research and apply initiatives into practice. In the period of 2020-2025, the whole industry has 161 topics recognized by the industry-level Scientific Council, thousands of technical innovation initiatives are effectively applied in medical examination and treatment.

At the same time, the movement "Innovating the style and service attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction" has been widely deployed, with 100% of medical units organizing for CCVCLĐ to sign a commitment to implement. The quality of medical services, service spirit and people's trust in the medical sector are increasingly improved.

Movements to build “green - clean - beautiful” hospitals, ensure occupational safety and hygiene, prevent fires and explosions, maintain traffic order and safety, etc. are also promoted, creating a civilized and safe working environment and improving service quality.

At the conference, the health sector launched an emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period with a number of key contents. Specifically: Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh, especially the teaching "A good doctor is like a mother"; continuing to promote emulation movements on medical ethics, building charity hospitals, green - clean - beautiful, population - family planning, 2 good women... Improving the quality of medical services, improving medical examination and treatment processes, investing in facilities, applying digital technology and improving service attitudes, aiming at patient satisfaction. Promoting scientific research, innovation, applying artificial intelligence, biotechnology, telemedicine and strengthening international cooperation to improve the quality of treatment. Building a safe, clean and beautiful medical environment, strengthening medical waste management, protecting the environment and using energy efficiently in medical facilities...
