Huong Ngoc vermicelli product of Thanh Cong Agricultural Services, Trade and Construction Cooperative.

With the support of the District People's Committee, in 2021, Thanh Cong Agricultural Services, Trade and Construction Cooperative (Ngoc Lien Commune) was established with 9 members, and at the same time built Huong Ngoc vermicelli into an OCOP product. During the implementation process, the Cooperative received 50 million VND from the district, 70 million VND from the province, and capital from members to invest in purchasing machinery, factories, and raw material areas with a total value of nearly 1 billion VND.

All processes of producing cellophane noodles, from selecting raw materials to processing, are carried out in a closed system, ensuring food hygiene and safety. In addition, the cooperative has improved designs, packaging, labels, and focused on product promotion...

With great efforts, in June 2021, Huong Ngoc vermicelli products of Thanh Cong Agricultural Services, Trade and Construction Cooperative were recognized by Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee as a 3-star OCOP product at the provincial level. The quality of Huong Ngoc vermicelli is increasingly improved, meeting the needs of customers inside and outside the province.

The Golden Queen melon product of Kien Tho Agricultural Service Cooperative is recognized as OCOP.

Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ngoc Lac district Pham Thi Ha said: Implementing the program "One commune, one OCOP product", Ngoc Lac district has promoted propaganda work to the general public; at the same time, guided the subjects to register to participate in the program. The subjects participating in the program have focused on improving and perfecting products, establishing intellectual property rights, building websites to sell products online... Thanks to positive solutions, as of April 2025, Ngoc Lac district has 16 products achieving 3-star OCOP, widely consumed in the system of supermarkets and agents inside and outside the district.

Currently, Ngoc Lac district is focusing on directing localities to improve the quality of agricultural products; promote and introduce products, create maximum conditions for entities participating in trade promotion at fairs, exhibitions, and tourism activities; at the same time, put OCOP into the action program to develop the economy - society associated with building new rural areas.
