On the afternoon of April 10, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to the Department of Science and Technology report on the progress of the Provincial Intelligent Operation Center Project (IOC) and the Provincial Shared Data Warehouse Project.

According to the report, the IOC Center has 7 software built including: Connecting, integrating data; managing, connecting, operating multiple devices; monitoring and operating; analyzing, processing data; managing urban resource space; managing general information; collecting data. By April 9, the Department of Science and Technology had completed the investment and organized the acceptance of information technology equipment and commercial software items. The infrastructure system of the project has been deployed, installed at the Provincial Data Center to serve the deployment and operation of software systems and databases within the scope of the project. The Department has worked with construction units to deploy and test 7/7 software systems and databases under the project.

For the Provincial Shared Data Warehouse Project, the following tasks need to be implemented: Investing in equipment and information technology infrastructure to serve the operation, management and exploitation of the data warehouse; investing in building a data warehouse software system; integrating information and data sources into the data warehouse; developing technical procedures to guide the operation, integration, update, exchange information and share data services of the data warehouse; building a legal system to serve the management and operation of the data warehouse. The Provincial Shared Data Warehouse is a place to concentrate data sources, integrate, standardize, manage, analyze, share, provide monitoring and evaluate the effectiveness of the exploitation and use of the province's shared data sources. Up to now, the Department of Science and Technology has completed the project dossier to send to the Provincial Appraisal Council.

After listening to the opinions of the meeting participants, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu suggested that the Department of Science and Technology coordinate closely with relevant units to remove obstacles, complete the IOC Center, prepare necessary conditions for launching and putting it into operation on April 29. In particular, it is necessary to request agencies and units to provide the latest data and information to update the IOC Center; research to add more land and weather data to the center. The Department also needs to develop management and operation regulations for agencies and units to apply after the IOC Center comes into operation. The Department of Science and Technology urgently consults and submits to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the Provincial Shared Data Warehouse Project.
