Diseased cassava plants must be destroyed, and disease-free cassava varieties must be selected for planting; people are encouraged to introduce disease-resistant cassava varieties such as HN1, HN5, etc. for trial planting; cassava planting must be carried out according to the plan to ensure the crop calendar framework as instructed by the district, city, or town.

In addition, farmers need to regularly visit the fields to detect early cuttings infected with KLS to destroy and spray to kill cassava whiteflies according to the notice and instructions of the professional agency. In particular, absolutely do not keep, buy, or sell seeds from infected cassava growing areas for the next crop; continue to monitor and evaluate disease-free seed areas and carry out breeding to provide seed sources for the following years.
