Mr. Ngo Minh Lam, Secretary of the Youth Union of Residential Group 3, Nghia Thanh Ward, is a dynamic and creative young man in economic development. With the support of his family, in 2018, Mr. Lam learned and started a business with a nursery garden of various vegetable and root seedlings with an area of 500m2 .
After many difficulties and hardships, the facility gradually developed to provide seedlings to meet the needs of local people. From there, Mr. Lam boldly invested and expanded the nursery area to 3,000m². Every month, Mr. Lam sells nearly 76 thousand vegetable seedlings of all kinds to the market, while also creating regular jobs for 5 local workers.

Having initially succeeded with his own startup model, Mr. Lam cherished the idea of building a playground for young people with a passion for startups like him to learn and share experiences. In mid-2023, with the support and guidance of Gia Nghia City Youth Union, Mr. Lam initiated the establishment and became the Chairman of the City's Young Farm Club.
After a period of developing his family's durian farm, Mr. Mai Thanh Hoang, Tan Hiep village, Dak R'moan commune, always wanted to exchange and learn from young people doing farms like him. When the Young Farm Club was established, Mr. Hoang was one of the first members to join.
Joining the club, Mr. Hoang is always ready to share his accumulated knowledge with those who share the same passion for agricultural production, aiming for the goal of mutual success and development. This is also a forum for Mr. Hoang to learn, improve his technical skills and expand the market for his products.

Mr. Hoang said: "When joining the Gia Nghia City Young Farm Club, I have more opportunities to exchange and learn a lot of experiences. Club members often exchange and share with each other about farming techniques, discussing many ideas to develop agriculture."
After more than 1 year of establishment and operation, from 4 initial members, up to now, Gia Nghia City Youth Farm Club has 25 young people participating in activities. The members come from Dak R'moan, Dak Nia communes, Nghia Thanh ward, Nghia Tan ward... all have in common that they are on the journey of starting a business, owning or developing agricultural farms with their families.

The club operates on a voluntary basis, providing a place for young people to gather, meet like-minded people, exchange and learn from each other. Here, young people discuss farming techniques, agricultural input materials, market access, marketing, product consumption and the further goal of connecting resources into large production areas.
Mr. Ngo Minh Lam, Chairman of Gia Nghia City Young Farm Club, shared that to maintain and develop the club, solidarity among members is the most important and prerequisite. Club members often take the time to sit together to discuss and propose plans for labor, jobs, and concentrate sources of goods to attract the attention of traders, make it easier to market and consume products, and build a brand. This is also an opportunity for young people who are just starting out, new farms to learn and know how to operate a farm, and choose the right output market.
For young people, the journey of starting a business has never been easy. Therefore, Gia Nghia City Young Farm Club has become a healthy and useful playground, gathering and creating a learning space for young people who have started and are starting a business in agricultural production.
