Presenting the contents related to the organization of the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Giang province, term 2024-2029, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Tran Cong Thang said that with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Consensus - Development", the Congress is expected to take place in 2 days, August 28-29. The Congress aims to enhance the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, expand socialist democracy, promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, contributing to building Bac Giang province to develop comprehensively and sustainably.

Referring to the highlights of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, Mr. Tran Cong Thang stated that the results of implementing the Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front showed that the 5 action programs and 17 targets and tasks set by the Congress had been completed, many targets had been exceeded; many new ways of doing things and effective work were strong marks in the 2019-2024 term.

Regarding personnel work, the Congress is expected to consult and elect 75 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province for the 2024-2029 term, with a combined structure of 21.33% women; 17.3% non-Party members; 10.7% ethnic minorities; 8% religious; and 32% new participants. It is expected that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province for the 15th term, 2024-2029, will have 9 members, including: Chairman, 3 Vice Chairmen, and 5 Standing Committee Members.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung highly appreciated the attention, direction and facilitation of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for the work of the Bac Giang Front in the 2019-2024 term as well as the organization of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, thereby ensuring the content, progress and conditions for the organization of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Bac Giang province, term 2024-2029; at the same time, he highly appreciated the Party Delegation and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province for preparing documents related to the Congress under the guidance of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung suggested that, based on the comments of the leaders of the Committees and units at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province should absorb and complete the content of the documents submitted to the Congress. Accordingly, the scenario for the Congress's management needs to be supplemented with specific time and duration. The 16 members of the Presidium of the Congress need to be arranged according to the correct structure and composition. For the political report submitted to the Congress, it is necessary to supplement the content, review the highlights, and review the content of each action program to highlight the results of the term, such as the participation of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the locality; and mention the outstanding results of the 5 socio-political organizations when implementing campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Fatherland Front.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung also suggested that, based on the content of the Fatherland Front at all levels to firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc, it is necessary to clarify the role of the Front in socio-economic development, security and defense of the whole province. At the same time, add some specific solutions in the 2024-2029 term to clarify the contribution of the Front system in implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress as well as the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.

Regarding the personnel to be presented to the Congress, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung suggested that it is necessary to add more people who have achieved the title of People's Teacher, Excellent Teacher, Outstanding Artist, Scientists, etc. who have made many contributions to the development of the province. Because these are the people with intelligence and enthusiasm who actively contribute to the activities of the Front in the 2024-2029 term.
