
Presenting the contents related to the preparation work for the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Dinh province, term 2024-2029, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phong Vu, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh province, said that with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Dinh province will take place in 2 days, August 28-29, with 458 delegates attending. The Congress is expected to consult 79 members of the Binh Dinh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, including: 9/10 officials of specialized agencies at the Provincial Front agency (1 vacancy); 11 chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of 11 districts, towns and cities; 33 heads of member organizations; 25 outstanding individuals. It is expected that the number of Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term will include 7 members. Of which, 1 Chairman, 3 Vice Chairmen and 3 Standing Committee Members.

“The Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Dinh province has set out 10 main targets and 6 action programs associated with key tasks, including: Strengthening propaganda, mobilization, gathering people from all walks of life, strengthening social consensus, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; improving the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism, promoting democracy, participating in Party building and government building; improving the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs and overseas Vietnamese affairs; continuing to innovate the organization, content and methods of operation; improving the capacity of the Front's staff at all levels; encouraging people from all walks of life to compete, be creative, and effectively carry out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements; building self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas,” Ms. Phong Vu shared.


Mr. Le Kim Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Dinh province, sincerely thanked the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee for their attention and facilitation in organizing the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates in Binh Dinh province. Through the meeting, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Dinh province will carefully consider and study the comments to edit and supplement them. The Congress program will be considered and arranged in a scientific and reasonable manner based on the spirit of comments from today's meeting with the ultimate goal of organizing the 12th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates in Binh Dinh province, term 2024-2029.

Presenting the contents related to the organization of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gia Lai province, term 2024-2029, Mr. Tran Minh Son, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said that by the end of April 26, 2024, 220/220 commune-level units had successfully organized the Congress. By the end of June 30, 2024, 17/17 district-level units had successfully organized the Congress. The personnel ensured the structure, composition, quantity, standards, and time according to regulations. It is expected that the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gia Lai province will be held on 2 days: August 22-23, 2024.
Regarding the expected personnel structure, the number of Committee members is 95, equal to the 2019-2024 term. At the Congress, 93 members will be introduced and negotiated, 2 positions will be vacant. Of which, 43 will be re-elected, 50 new members will be introduced. Regarding the composition, there will be 30 leaders of member organizations; 17 chairmen of the district-level Fatherland Front Committee; 25 outstanding individuals from all walks of life; 13 intellectuals and experts in various fields; 10 full-time officials of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Regarding the combined structure, there will be 35 ethnic minorities; 15 religious people; 26 non-Party members; and 20 women.

Mr. Rah Lan Chung, Deputy Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, said that the meeting clarified many contents related to the organization of the Congress. Therefore, the Gia Lai Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will absorb, adjust and supplement in accordance with the direction of the Central Front. Gia Lai is a province with diverse culture, the political security situation has its own characteristics, so the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciates the role of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations in working with the locality to solve immediate and long-term difficulties. In particular, the campaign "Changing the thinking and working style of ethnic minorities to gradually rise out of poverty sustainably" stands out. From its origin in Gia Lai province, this model has now been replicated in many other provinces and cities across the country.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman To Thi Bich Chau highly appreciated the Standing Committee of the Binh Dinh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for actively and proactively advising the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and coordinating with relevant agencies to prepare well the conditions for organizing the Congress. In particular, the preparation of documents and programs must ensure scientificity; the thorough personnel plan basically ensures the requirements and instructions of the Central Government.

For the Congress to be a success, Vice President To Thi Bich Chau suggested that the provinces should continue to review and selectively supplement the stages, integrate them to ensure time, especially add key contents to the documents, including assessments of the situation of the great solidarity bloc in the past time, of ethnic minorities, intellectuals, and typical individuals with a calling to represent the local classes. From there, contributing to promoting the strength of the great national solidarity bloc after 40 years of national liberation.
On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman To Thi Bich Chau hoped that the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee and Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee would continue to pay attention to the personnel work of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committees as well as create conditions for the Fatherland Front to continue operating effectively, achieving many encouraging results in the coming time; at the same time, she believed that the Standing Committees of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committees of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai would unite, be unified, and have the best preparation for the success of the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the provinces, term 2024-2029.
