On the afternoon of April 15, National Assembly deputies: Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security; Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Nghe An province met with voters of Binh Hop commune, Tan Ky district.

At the conference, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates, delegate Vi Van Son announced the expected program and content of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of responding to the petitions of voters of Tan Ky district.

The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on May 5. At the session, the National Assembly will consider amending and supplementing the 2013 Constitution, and is expected to pass 30 laws and 7 resolutions in various fields. At the conference, voter Cao Xuan Tam - head of Van Nam hamlet, Binh Hop commune, reported that there are many units exploiting sand and gravel along the Con River. However, excessive exploitation of sand and gravel can cause changes in the flow, landslides, lowering the riverbed, negatively affecting infrastructure works and people's production life. Therefore, Mr. Cao Xuan Tam suggested that competent authorities should soon have a plan to solve this problem.

Sharing the same opinion, another voter said that the people of Binh Hop commune mainly produce agriculture, and in recent years have been negatively affected by sand and gravel mining in the area. Therefore, the voter suggested that before granting mining licenses, the competent authorities need to carefully consider the conditions of the area, the impact on the people, and avoid causing negative impacts on the lives of the people.

Speaking at the conference, voter Dang Van Dung - Hamlet 1, Binh Hop Commune said that Decree No. 64/ND-CP on allocating agricultural land to households and individuals for long-term stable use for agricultural production purposes has been issued for 32 years, many regulations are no longer suitable for reality. Therefore, voters suggested that Decree No. 64/ND-CP should be amended soon to suit current reality.

Voters in Binh Hop commune also made recommendations about the situation of oversized and overloaded vehicles that spill materials on traffic routes, causing danger to road users.
