It is forecasted that in 2025, under the impact of global climate change, the weather situation will continue to be complex and unpredictable, especially natural disasters such as storms, hail, flash floods, and landslides.

To proactively and promptly respond to and overcome the consequences of natural disasters, minimize property damage, restore power supply early, ensure safety for workers and electrical safety for people, Nghe An Electricity Company organized a "Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue - Incident Handling - Safety Drill" (3 in 1).

The drill included 5 scenarios: Handling 110kV power grid incidents; Handling medium voltage power grid incidents; Handling low voltage power grid incidents; Handling transmission system incidents, communication systems, Scada disconnection when natural disasters occur; Rescue.

The drill aims to check and evaluate the preparation, response, and command work of natural disaster prevention and control, and to deploy the 4-on-the-spot motto in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and handling incidents.

At the same time, provide solutions to quickly overcome the consequences and incidents caused by natural disasters, promptly restore power supply to customers, improve reliability and customer satisfaction; Ensure absolute safety for people, minimize property damage caused by natural disasters.

The drill also aims to train skills, expertise, and professional style; improve skills and knowledge for officers and employees in searching, rescuing, and saving victims of natural disasters.

Improve the quality of coordination and mobilize internal resources within the Company and its units. Coordinate with local authorities and media agencies in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

At the same time, inspect and evaluate the work of commanding and regulating the power grid, converting methods to handle power grid incidents and telecommunication systems connected to the Control Center, quickly restoring power supply after storms.

The exercise achieved its objectives and requirements, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment. In particular, the organization and command level of the company's leaders and the coordination of actions between the affiliated power units were smooth and consistent with each situation.

The forces participating in the exercise closely followed the exercise plan set by the Command Board, creatively applied procedures and regulations to reality; correctly assessed the incident situation, grasped the wiring diagram well to come up with the fastest solution and power supply for the loads in the area.
