Promoting Vietnam - US trade and investment cooperation

This is a connecting flight expected to strengthen Vietnam - US trade and investment cooperation, opening a series of activities to connect, explore opportunities and promote trade - investment cooperation between the two economies.

The flight brought together representatives of the Vietnamese business community in many fields such as finance - banking, aviation, energy, technology and import-export.

This activity demonstrates the proactive spirit of the private business sector, while also demonstrating the determination to approach strategic markets and accompany the Government in efforts to deepen bilateral economic relations.

The US is currently one of Vietnam’s largest trade and investment partners. Many Vietnamese businesses are increasing their presence in this market through strategic cooperation in key areas such as aviation, high technology, energy and financial services.

In March 2025 alone, businesses from both countries signed many trade agreements with a total value of more than 90 billion USD, of which more than 50 billion USD is expected to be implemented from 2025, focusing on areas such as aircraft procurement, aviation services, oil and gas exploitation and import of petrochemical products.

A representative of HDBank - the organizer - affirmed that it will continue to expand connections with the international financial and investment ecosystem, contributing to creating a bridge for Vietnamese businesses and entrepreneurs to reach further in the global market.

The journey to continue a long-term strategy

With the participation of nearly 200 Vietnamese businessmen, HDBank's private jet marks the continuation of many bilateral promotion activities that have been implemented in recent times.

In 2024, Vietnamese enterprises such as Vingroup, FPT, Vietjet, SOVICO Group, HDBank... worked directly with many leading US corporations such as Boeing, GE, Microsoft, AWS, Google, Apple, NVIDIA... with a total cooperation value of up to tens of billions of USD, of which some agreements have officially come into implementation.

Notably, many projects are being promoted in the technology and telecommunications fields, including a cooperation plan between Vietnamese enterprises and SpaceX to apply satellite Internet in services in the aviation - banking - consumer ecosystem in Vietnam.

FPT Corporation has also signed a strategic partnership with NVIDIA to develop artificial intelligence and cloud computing solutions, and plans to invest $200 million to build an AI factory using NVIDIA technology. Vietjet has recorded a total cooperation value exceeding $50 billion from leading US partners.

In recent times, the Vietnamese business community has actively expanded strategic cooperation with international partners, making practical contributions to promoting bilateral economic relations and enhancing Vietnam's position in the international arena.

These multilateral efforts are opening up many new development opportunities, while affirming the increasingly clear role of Vietnamese enterprises in the global value chain.

The connecting HDBank flight on April 4 continues to be a concrete demonstration of the proactive spirit, integration courage and aspiration to reach out of the Vietnamese business community in the new period.
