Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Director of the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security, emphasized that the 80 young police officers of communes, wards and towns who were honored are all typical and excellent examples among more than 34,000 young police officers working and fighting at the grassroots level.

The program to honor exemplary young police officers of communes, wards and towns in 2025 is part of the series of activities of the "Youth for National Security" Camp in the Northern region. This is a meaningful activity to help the younger generation better understand the 80-year history of building, fighting and growing up of the People's Public Security force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

This year's camp has the participation of more than 1,000 campers who are cadres and outstanding youth union members representing the youth of 30 provinces and cities in the Northern region, 54 units under the Ministry of Public Security and guest units.

The program also includes activities such as: "Youth in Action for National Security" Festival and "Lighting Up the Dream of Reformation" program; exhibition of works, models, and images on the historical theme of the People's Public Security tradition, on the youth movement to protect the Fatherland; visiting and presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of war invalids and martyrs inside and outside the People's Public Security force; implementing the "Going to School with You" project with activities to support scholarships for students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies; organizing free medical examinations and medicine distribution for the people; a festival to promote revolutionary songs and the art exchange program "Youth for National Security"; a campfire exchange "Keeping the Fire of Tradition"...

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 A prizes, 14 B prizes, and 20 C prizes to the units participating in the Camp.
