According to the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, the implementation results in 2023 and the first 6 months of 2024 with scientific research activities and application of new technologies in production have contributed to improving the productivity and quality of goods and services. In particular, in agricultural production, the application of biotechnology in agricultural production has created a breakthrough in improving productivity, quality, and increasing product competitiveness... Many businesses, farms, cooperatives, and households have applied high technology to the production process, creating many agricultural products with outstanding productivity, high added value, and food safety, meeting the consumption needs of the people of the capital and for export.

To date, the city has 393 high-tech agricultural production models. Of these, 224 models are in the field of cultivation, 144 models are in the field of animal husbandry, and 25 models are in the field of aquaculture. Hanoi has 68 agricultural cooperatives applying high-tech agriculture.

It is known that in 2024, the city budget will allocate 110 billion VND to carry out science and technology tasks. Of which, 69.124 billion VND will be spent on implementing 130 transitional science and technology tasks, and 40.876 billion VND will be spent on selecting and directly assigning new tasks in 2024 to carry out the tasks in 2024.

Specifically, in the Capital Law (amended), there are 99 groups of tasks related to the field of science and technology that need to be implemented soon. In addition, Mr. Phong also requested the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Management Board to coordinate with universities and colleges to inform universities early about the development orientation of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park so that schools can understand and have specific proposals. Especially the training of students and the coordination of support and training to improve the quality of teachers in the city.
