According to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ), in the first six months of 2024, there were 2,222 fires nationwide, an increase of 361 incidents compared to the same period in 2023, resulting in 57 deaths, 45 injuries, and approximately 128 billion VND in damages.
