Therefore, no matter what field they work in, they constantly strive and contribute to the development of their homeland and country.

1. As the son of a general in the army, and born on April 30, 1975, on the days when the whole country was bustling to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, Colonel Dinh Van The - Deputy Commander in charge of the duties of Commander of the Provincial Military Command, National Assembly delegate of the 15th Provincial term, was filled with indescribable emotions.

Colonel Dinh Van The remembers a lot about his parents, who gave birth to him, raised him and instilled patriotism in him from the moment he was born. His father was Major General Kpa Thin - the first Commander and also the person who held this position the longest in the history of the Gia Lai-Kon Tum Provincial Military Command (from 1961 to 1991). His mother was Mrs. Dinh Thi Cho - former Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, a resilient and kind woman.

“When she was alive, my mother told me that she gave birth to me right after hearing the news of the liberation of the South. As for my father, he was still with his comrades on the battlefield. It was not until a year later that he had the opportunity to come home and visit me,” Colonel Dinh Van The said.

Colonel Dinh Van The grew up in the loving arms and heard inspiring stories from his father - a general on the battlefield. From a young age, he followed his father through the lands stained with fire and smoke - where the footprints of soldiers who fought bravely for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland were deeply imprinted. Those stories and trips instilled in him a deep love for the soldier's uniform and the revolutionary ideal.

In 1988, he attended the Military Region 5 Military Academy - a special school that trains children of ethnic minorities, creating a source of future cadres for the army. From the first steps in his military career, he was fortunate to have his father by his side, inspiring and instilling faith and determination.

“At that time, the main means of communication was handwritten letters. There was a week when my father wrote me two letters, each filled with warm and thoughtful words of encouragement,” Colonel Dinh Van The shared.

After studying, training and holding many positions, in 2014, he was transferred to work as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command. Working at the place where his beloved father was the highest commander for many decades, for Colonel Dinh Van The, that is a sacred happiness.

Every day he goes to work, every step he takes on this land seems to bear his father's mark, like a wordless extension between two generations. It is not only an honor, but also a great motivation and a reminder for him to always strive, practice, and constantly try.

“My father was a commander in both periods of war and peace. He had a standard demeanor, a style close to officers and soldiers, but was extremely determined and decisive in directing and operating work. Those are the things I always remember, learn and follow,” said Colonel Dinh Van The.

With his own pride in being born in a historical moment, and growing up in the arms of parents who were devoted to the revolution all their lives, Colonel Dinh Van The always wondered how to live a worthy life to show gratitude and continue the glorious tradition of his family and nation.

"I will constantly strive to fulfill the assigned tasks, lead the unit to unite and contribute to building the province's armed forces to be increasingly strong, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation" - Deputy Commander in charge of the duties of Commander of the Provincial Military Command said.

In 2021, he was elected as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly. In the role of a people's representative, he is always open-minded and listens; actively participates with the Provincial National Assembly Delegation in meeting voters, learning about the aspirations of the people to promptly record and reflect them to the authorities and the National Assembly forum. From there, he contributes to building and proposing practical and appropriate policies, ensuring an increasingly better life for the people, especially those in remote and isolated areas.

2. Mr. Le Thong Nhat - Director of KNV Event Organization Company is always proud to be born in a historic moment of the country. He recalls: According to my mother, I was born in the early morning of April 30, 1975, at that time the family did not know what to name their child. At noon of the same day, the radio reported that Saigon was liberated, cheers of victory resounded everywhere. My parents immediately decided to name me Thong Nhat to remember a sacred day of the nation, the day the North and South were reunited.

Mr. Le Thong Nhat shared: “50 years of national reunification is also my age. Because I was born at a historic moment and have a meaningful name, my relatives and friends all remember my birthday and send me congratulations. Every year on April 30, my family often gathers together to celebrate my birthday and the anniversary of national reunification.”

Growing up during the years when the country was healing the wounds of war, Mr. Nhat's childhood was not easy, the whole family had to work hard to overcome the hardships of daily life. "My parents always reminded me: You were born on the day the country was at peace, that is a great pride and luck. You must constantly strive to become a useful person for society" - Mr. Nhat said.

That teaching has followed him throughout his journey. After graduating from high school, the young man Le Thong Nhat left Pleiku for Ho Chi Minh City to study and work. At the end of 2002, he decided to return to his hometown to start a career, taking on the role of Deputy Secretary of the Ia Kring Ward Youth Union (Pleiku City), then became involved in the field of event organization and established KNV Event Organization Company in 2015.

Not only working hard, Mr. Nhat also actively participates in charity activities as a way to continue the tradition of "mutual love" of the nation. Over the years, he has worked hard to connect with benefactors to collect kilos of rice, bundles of vegetables... from small traders in Pleiku City to bring to orphanages or charity kitchens at the Provincial Children's Hospital. His event storage always has a small corner to receive and store old clothes, books, school supplies, and necessities to accompany volunteer groups to give to poor people and students in remote areas.

In addition, he also connects with volunteer associations, groups, and clubs to schools in remote areas to build facilities such as: drilled water wells, toilets, classrooms, and concrete school yards... Many volunteer activities of clubs, teams, and groups have been fully supported by KNV Event Organization Company, from sound, lighting to transportation.

Not noisy, not ostentatious, but each volunteer activity that Mr. Nhat has carried out is a mark of sharing, a spirit of charity, arousing love and responsibility towards the community. Mr. Le Mien Nam - in charge of the Charity Kitchen at the Provincial Children's Hospital - said: "The kitchen has been opened and maintained since 2017 until now, Mr. Nhat has always accompanied and connected to support food for the kitchen. Not only does he support food regularly, but his affection and thoughtfulness for poor patients makes everyone appreciate it."

Talking about his plans for the future, Mr. Nhat expressed: “I always remind myself that being born when the country is at peace, I must try my best to be worthy of being the next generation to follow my ancestors. I just hope that I have enough health and trust from benefactors to continue volunteering, contributing a small part to spreading positive values of life.
