Over the past 5 years, the emulation movement "Military Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings" has been seriously implemented by the provincial armed forces, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, and the emulation movement "Determined to Win". Thereby, the provincial Military Logistics Sector has comprehensively completed the targets and tasks of logistics work, creating positive changes in many aspects.

Specifically, the industry has reviewed, adjusted, and fully supplemented the combat readiness logistics document system at all levels, meeting the requirements of regular and ad hoc tasks, natural disaster prevention and control, and search and rescue. Effectively implementing the emulation movement "Building good military feeding units and good military supplies management", units regularly improve processing and enhance the quality of soldiers' meals; to date, they are basically self-sufficient in green vegetables (70%), meat (70%) and fish (45%), increasing by an average of 4.5% per year.

The health care of soldiers is focused on; the annual rate of healthy soldiers reaches 99.21% (exceeding the target by 0.51%); 100% of subjects are periodically examined for health. The sector also proactively coordinates with units to organize medical examination and treatment, providing free medicine to 3,172 people in remote areas, revolutionary base areas, policy beneficiaries and people of Cambodia with a total cost of nearly 640 million VND.

In addition, the unit supported the Rattanakiri Provincial Military Sub-region (Cambodia) with medical supplies to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic worth 300 million VND; coordinated the construction of 3 gratitude houses, 9 comrade houses and 7 policy houses for poor households in the area. Production and livestock raising activities met and exceeded targets, earning an average profit of more than 1.7 million VND/person/year. Tree planting and afforestation activities also achieved positive results with more than 35,000 scattered trees, fruit trees and more than 159 hectares of planted forests (reaching 110% of the annual plan).

Concluding the conference, Colonel Le Thanh Tung requested the provincial Military Logistics sector to continue to thoroughly grasp and concretize the resolutions and orders of the Military Region and the Provincial Military Command; closely link with promoting the study and following of Uncle Ho; build models and model units; create motivation to promote the emulation movement to develop extensively and substantially; ensure logistics work effectively serves political tasks and combat readiness.

In the period of 2025-2030, the Logistics sector will focus on effectively implementing "One focus - Three breakthroughs" and "Five good years" in logistics work; building a comprehensively strong logistics agency and unit.

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement "Military Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings" for the period 2020-2025.
