Implementation of investments for the construction of Gia Nghia Highway

Specifically, Deputy Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà Ministry of Transport chairing, in coordination with the Binh Phuoc Provincial Executive Committee and relevant ministries and departments, drafting a Government Resolution to implement Parliament's Resolution No. 138/2024/QH15 dated 28 June 2024 on the investment initiative of the North-South highway construction project northwest of Gia Giang (Dak Nong) - Chan Chan (Binh Phuong), submitted to the Government before 5 August 2024.

According to Resolution No. 138/2024/QH15, the investment project for the construction of a North-South highway west of Gia Nghia (Da Nang) - Chong Thanh sectionBlessingsThe total investment of the Project is VND 25,540 billion, including: Central budget capital is VND 10,536. 5 billion; Local budget capital is 2,233. 5 billion; Capital arranged by investors is VND 12,770 billion.

The project will be implemented from 2024, basically completed by 2026, put into operation in 2027.

The project aims to build a key highway connecting the Central Highlands with Southeast Asia, linking Binh Phuoc and Da Nang provinces and other localities in the region with Ho Chi Minh City, creating space and new development momentum for the Eastern Highlands and South East Asia; exploiting the potential of land use, tourism development, processing industry, mineral extraction industry, gradually restructuring the economy of the Western Hemisphere; contributing to the successful implementation of goals and tasks of economic-social development, ensuring national defense - security of the West Coast, Southeast Asian regions and the country according to the decision of the XIIIth National Congress of the Party, the Resolutions of the Political Ministry.
