Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc inspects the construction progress of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project through Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province. |
Checking the construction progress at the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project through Dong Nai, reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister, a representative of Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) said that the Project is currently facing difficulties with filling soil, with millions of cubic meters of soil still missing.
If the land source is not resolved in March, the road embankment before the rainy season will be affected, leading to the risk of delay in progress.
The Project Management Board recommends that the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee direct early support of materials to speed up construction progress because contractors have mobilized maximum equipment and workers to focus on roadbed construction.
In addition, the land clearance section through Bien Hoa has only reached 82% and there are about 400 plots of land yet to be handed over.
Directing the removal of remaining obstacles, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc requested the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to quickly resolve problems related to site clearance to hand over to the construction contractor.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that when clearing land, it is necessary to pay attention to the issue of resettlement for people, considering resettlement and stabilizing people's lives as the top priority.
Regarding the problems related to construction materials, the Deputy Prime Minister requested Dong Nai province to speed up the process of resolving them to have materials for contractors to construct.
At locations where the ground is cleared, the Deputy Prime Minister requested units to mobilize more human resources, working day and night to speed up progress, ensuring that component projects are completed on schedule.
