According to the Decision, the Ministry assigned the Vietnam Dance Academy to coordinate with the Embassy of India in Vietnam to organize a meeting and exchange with the Indian classical dance group Odissi Dance (including 08 people with attached list) led by Ms. Alpana Nayak. The event will take place on August 16, 2024 at the Vietnam Dance Academy.

It is known that India is one of the cradles of human civilization, the birthplace of great religions and has an extremely rich culture. Over thousands of years of development, Indian culture has become truly brilliant and unique from costumes, cuisine to art. Indian art is rich and mysterious, in which classical dance is considered the quintessence, the pinnacle of Indian performing arts. Indian dances often tell a story, a folk tale or a myth. Through dances, talented artists not only express their inner emotions but also the connection between intelligence and soul, a way to express the beauty of an ancient civilization.
