According to the consultant's report, regarding the route direction, the location of the railway station from Bau Bang station to An Binh station is basically updated based on the Ho Chi Minh City - Loc Ninh national railway route approved by the Prime Minister and the detailed planning of the railway in the Ho Chi Minh City hub area.

Regarding the scale of the route, the starting point of the route is An Binh station (Di An ward, Di An city), the ending point of the route is Bau Bang station (Lai Uyen town, Bau Bang district). The total length of the railway is about 52.25 km, with 10 stations; the planned double-track line is 1,435mm in gauge. The type of railway transports passengers and goods. The railway passes through Di An city, Thuan An city, Tan Uyen city, Thu Dau Mot city, Ben Cat city and Bau Bang district.

Regarding the route, from An Binh station, go parallel to the left of My Phuoc - Tan Van road, to Binh Chuan area, turn right to the East of Thu Dau Mot city, then go to the West of VSIP II Industrial Park to Bau Bang station.

The Di An - Bau Bang railway is expected to be put into operation in 2033.

Based on the report of the consulting unit and the opinions of the departments, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh requested the departments to coordinate with the consulting unit to determine the number of overpasses and underpasses on the route to include in the intersection plan in the pre-feasibility report. In addition, continue to review and adjust the planning of localities to complete the route.

In the next report, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the consulting unit to clearly report on the financial plan, investment method, expected technology... of the railway line. Localities with railway lines passing through should pay attention to reviewing the volume of compensation for site clearance to implement the project.

On the same morning, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh had a working session with the leaders of Thu Dau Mot City on adjusting the city's zoning plan. He requested Thu Dau Mot City to coordinate with the Department of Construction to urgently carry out procedures to adjust the 1/5000 zoning plan of Thu Dau Mot City. By the end of June 2025, take steps to collect opinions from sectors and people; strive to complete the adjustment of the zoning plan of Thu Dau Mot City by mid-July 2025.
