World oil prices today

World oil prices continued to increase in today's trading session, August 7 (Vietnam time). WTI crude oil was at 73.28 USD/barrel, up 0.10 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.14%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 73.20 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 72.84 USD/barrel.

Brent crude oil was at $76.55 a barrel, up $0.07 a barrel, or 0.09 percent. Brent crude oil closed the previous session at $76.48 a barrel and opened today at $76.34 a barrel.

Gasoline discount today

Discount prices of petroleum products today, August 7, at some domestic petroleum dealers are as follows:

Pvoil applies discount rates on August 7: Oil discount of VND2,050/liter; RON 95-III gasoline: VND1,950/liter; E5 gasoline: VND1,750/liter. This discount rate is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan warehouse.

Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on August 7 as follows: Oil discount: 2,000 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,900 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,700 VND/liter.

MIPEC gasoline discount on August 7: 95-III gasoline: 1,300; E5 gasoline: 1,200; oil: 2,050 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. It is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, petroleum prices will continue to decrease. Of which, gasoline prices may decrease by about 300 VND/liter, and oil prices by 400 VND/liter.

Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 14 times. Oil prices have increased 15 times and decreased 15 times.
