Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh said that press agencies need to change their reporting methods, trends, and approaches to issues, and increase the application of modern reporting technology.

On the afternoon of August 7, journalist Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association visited and worked with journalists in Binh Phuoc province, during a working trip to attend the Party Newspaper Workshop on propaganda work to build the Party on ethics, which will take place in Binh Phuoc province.

At the meeting, representatives of the Board of Directors - Editorial Board of Binh Phuoc Radio - Television and Newspaper (BPTV) introduced an overview of the organizational structure and operations of the agency, after the merger of Binh Phuoc Radio - Television and Binh Phuoc Newspaper.

Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh highly appreciated the efforts of the Press Association in investing and improving the quality of propaganda work as well as association activities.

Faced with the development of social networks and artificial intelligence (AI), the Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that press agencies, including Party newspapers, need to change their methods, trends in journalism, approaches to issues, increase the application of modern journalism technology, improve the quality and effectiveness of attractive and engaging information and propaganda, and successfully complete assigned functions and tasks.

Practical requirements require press agencies to focus on improving the quality of information, packaging products, and learning how to manage artificial intelligence products. At the same time, creating links between press agencies to attract the public.

In the coming time, the Vietnam Journalists Association will strengthen information and professional exchange activities, and provide maximum support to local press agencies towards the goal of becoming multimedia and multi-platform press agencies; providing information in the right direction, attractive and accessible to all classes of readers.

Tomorrow morning (August 8), Binh Phuoc Radio - Television and Newspaper will organize a Party Newspaper Workshop on Party building propaganda work on ethics.

At the workshop, local Party press agencies will share their experiences in propagating Party building on ethics. Through this, each unit will gain more experience and skills to effectively carry out propaganda work on Party regulations on Party building on ethics.

Press agencies and journalists exchange expertise, communicate, learn, strengthen solidarity, cooperate, develop together, and coordinate well in propaganda work.
