Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Pham Quoc Thoi - Provincial Party Committee member, Principal of Tra Vinh Provincial Political School emphasized that the training course aims to help cadres, reporters, and editors supplement their knowledge of theory and practice, and working skills. Clearly define the role and responsibility for propaganda work on Party building, creating more motivation, spirit, and new creativity for cadres, reporters, and editors in the process of working. At the same time, ensure the quality of articles participating in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.

In order for the class to be of high quality and effectiveness, Mr. Pham Quoc Thoi suggested that the reporters select and share key, practical content, and convey knowledge and experience to help cadres, reporters, and editors improve their knowledge and experience to meet the requirements of their tasks in the new situation.

The class organizing committee regularly pays attention, monitors, manages, and coordinates to fully prepare the conditions for the program, documents, and facilities and techniques for the class. The students promote a sense of responsibility, seriously absorb the topics with a spirit of self-awareness, exemplary behavior, actively exchange and discuss to absorb the topics effectively and qualitatively.

The training course took place from August 7 to 9 with 6 topics: (1) Protecting the Party's ideological foundation; fighting against the distortions of hostile forces. (2) Building the Party in terms of ethics and ethical standards of Party members and cadres in the new period. (3) Experience in collecting information, processing information and skills in creating journalistic works in the political genre on Party building. (4) Modern media and new skills in creating radio and television works. (5) Overview of the Party and Party building work, introducing new models, creative and effective ways in Party building work. (6) National press awards on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) and how to choose topics for creative journalistic works on Party building and the political system.
