Lam Dong Provincial Department of Finance has just reported data related to the arrangement of office and accommodation when merging provinces.
Accordingly, to take advantage of facilities that can be put into operation immediately, limit major repairs that take a long time and have a backup plan; the Department of Finance plans to arrange offices; arrange public housing to implement the Project on arranging provincial administrative units.
Office layout
Specifically, continue to use the headquarters of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Lam Dong province ; add headquarters at 22 Pasteur, Da Lat; the working headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee Office and arrange to add 04A Tran Hung Dao, which is currently the common headquarters of the Associations.
Existing Department and Branch Headquarters: No. 36 Tran Phu, total floor area currently used for working arrangements is 22,747 m2. Number of civil servants: 3,330 people (expected actual number reduced by 20%).
The plan is to continue using the entire headquarters; add the land and house at 8 Ba Thang Tu Street to the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
Assign Lam Dong Provincial Administrative Center to reclaim the entire leased area on the ground floor of 1,300 m2 to supplement the working area; renovate the roof area of the 5th floor of the 5-storey building to supplement the working area. Thus, basically meeting the working area needs of the Departments and branches at this location.
Public service units and Associations: The current number of employees is 1,295 (the actual number is expected to decrease by 20%); the proposed plan is to arrange the office at 05 Tran Nhan Tong, Ward 8, Da Lat City, with an area of 14,848 m2 (the old headquarters of Da Lat City People's Committee).
Units of the Front, political organizations, current number of civil servants and employees: 1,093 people continue to work at existing headquarters.
Currently, the Provincial Party Committee Office is reviewing to build the arrangement according to the authority of the Party agency. Arrange accommodation for 880 staff
According to data, there are currently about 2,200 cadres, civil servants and public employees of the two provinces of Dak Nong and Binh Thuan; after reducing the number of civil servants by 20%, there are about 1,760 civil servants; of which about 50% have a need for accommodation, which is 880 accommodation places (not including cadres and civil servants expected to continue working at administrative headquarters in localities).
Specifically, the group of leaders is the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of the 2 provinces with 28 people; the group of leaders is the Directors, heads of Departments, branches; deputy heads of Departments, branches: 129 people; of which: Binh Thuan: 67 people; Dak Nong: 62 people.
The remaining group of officials and civil servants includes heads, deputy heads and specialists of departments, offices and units under the Department and industry: 723 people.
The group of leaders, including the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of the two provinces, with 28 members, will be arranged at the Provincial Party Committee's official residence on Trieu Viet Vuong Street; house number 7 Tran Hung Dao; number 11 Tran Hung Dao; number 05 Nguyen Thai Hoc (former Empress Hotel).
The group of officials are Directors, heads of Departments and branches; deputy heads of Departments and branches, 129 people are located at No. 4 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai (currently the lease term of this facility has expired, the number of rooms is currently 80).

“The dormitory area of the Training and Development Center in Da Lat, belonging to the National Academy of Public Administration Branch on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Da Lat, has 96 rooms that are currently not fully utilized.
