Some have continued to contribute to the country in peacetime, from social work, economic development, new rural construction to educating the younger generation.
Welcoming the 50th anniversary of the April 30 Victory to promote the revolutionary spirit and carry out ideological work well in the new situation, comrade Luu Van Trung suggested that the Veterans Association at all levels should focus on promoting political education and resolutely fight against "peaceful evolution". In the immediate future, there is a plan to participate in contributing opinions to documents of party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Along with that, the Veterans Association at all levels continues to develop the movement of Veterans helping each other to do business, sustainably reduce poverty, and eliminate temporary houses for members before 2025; encourage Veterans to get rich legitimately, replicate advanced models and examples throughout the association; actively participate in local economic and social programs; do a good job of "Repaying gratitude"; complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for members by the end of 2025.
