According to initial information, Thai Phi Hoang is currently working as a manager at a Dien May Xanh supermarket in Dak Mil district (Dak Nong province). Taking advantage of his position and understanding the operating rules of the Dien May Xanh store system in Buon Ma Thuot city, Hoang had the intention of stealing property.

Thai Phi Hoang was arrested.

On the afternoon of April 9, Hoang brought a hammer, iron cutters, a crowbar and took a bus from Dak Mil to Buon Ma Thuot City. At around 11 p.m. the same day, he arrived in front of the Dien May Xanh Hoa Phu store (in Hoa Phu commune, Buon Ma Thuot City) to observe and investigate the situation.

After making sure the store was closed and there were few people around, Hoang put on a raincoat, a mask, and sunglasses and used a hammer to break the tempered glass door to break in. He broke the display case, stole 18 mobile phones of various types and a Samsung phone charger.

After committing the crime, Hoang quickly left the scene and took all the clothes he had worn to the cemetery in Dak Hoa commune (Dak Song district, Dak Nong province) to burn to destroy the evidence. On April 10, Hoang brought 18 stolen phones to Ho Chi Minh City to sell, selling them for more than 100 million VND and spending them all for personal use.

With sharp professional measures, on April 26, the Criminal Police Department - Provincial Police identified and arrested Thai Phi Hoang.

Through valuation, the total value of 18 mobile phones that Hoang stole is more than 180 million VND. Currently, the police have recovered 12 phones and are continuing to investigate and expand the case to handle Hoang according to the law.

It is known that Thai Phi Hoang has 2 previous convictions, both related to property theft.
