According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee on the establishment of 12 steering groups for the congresses of party committees under the Government Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, Steering Group No. 2 will include: Ministry of Home Affairs, Government Inspectorate, Government Office, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, and Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development.

Preparing for the party congress, personnel work

At the meeting, delegates reported on the preparations for the organization of party congresses of affiliated party committees, action plans and the removal of difficulties and obstacles, and recommendations to competent authorities for solutions to organize the congress.

According to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, Party committees must review the term, including achievements, shortcomings and limitations; plan tasks for the new term, conduct personnel work, elect delegates to attend higher-level Party congresses and contribute opinions to the documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

According to Decision No. 65 of the Government Party Committee Standing Committee, Steering Group No. 2 has Party committees holding model congresses for the entire bloc.

With the spirit of doing a good job, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that units carefully prepare all stages to meet requirements and tasks.

In particular, it is necessary to seriously grasp and closely follow Directive No. 45 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

As for the three Party committees and branches that have not yet completed the work of arranging and organizing the apparatus, it is necessary to urgently organize congresses at lower levels to complete this task as soon as possible.

Orientation for building congress documents

Regarding the preparation of congress documents, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that the documents be written in a concise, succinct manner, with breakthroughs, advancements and high action; must cover and thoroughly grasp the new situation, and must be clear about the work and content.

"The new situation here is the work of streamlining and reorganizing the apparatus and organization; the goal of setting higher growth; the complex and unpredictable developments of the world economic situation. The content of the document must be truly specific and clear; anything too fanciful is impractical and lacks actionability," the permanent deputy prime minister stated.

At the same time, the permanent deputy prime minister also gave specific instructions to party committees on personnel work orientation and timelines for preparing and organizing the congress.

He emphasized that party committees need to carry out emulation movements well to practically welcome the congress.

In particular, these are party committees with very large political positions in social life, so it is necessary to pay close attention to information and propaganda work with rich, vivid, practical and specific forms in the spirit of innovation, breakthrough and advancement.
