Male parent hits female teacher on the head, forces her to stand in the rain

On April 29, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Tran Xuan Nhuong, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) said that the unit is coordinating with local authorities and related units to focus on handling the incident of a male parent breaking into the school, grabbing the hair and assaulting a female teacher.

The teacher who was assaulted is NTKN. Ms. N. is the homeroom teacher of combined classes 3 and 4, at Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School, Quynh Luu district.

Earlier that morning, a clip was circulated on social media recording a man entering Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School.

The man then stormed into a classroom and started yelling. He hit the teacher on the head, grabbed her hair, dragged her out of the classroom and continued to assault her in the rain.

In the video, the man addresses the teacher in an unfriendly manner. The incident happened in front of many students at the school.

According to investigation, the incident occurred on the afternoon of April 28, at Bac Thang school, more than 10km from the main school Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School, Quynh Luu district (Nghe An).

The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu district said that the unit had received information and initial incident report from the school.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.

According to the school's report, at around 4:30 p.m. on April 28, Mr. Ha Van Thuy (born in 1985, residing in Tan Thang commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province) went to the Bac Thang regional school, Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School to pick up his child after school.

Here, parent Ha Van Thuy used words and actions to chase away teacher Luc Xuan Hoa and teacher Nguyen Thi Kim Nam.

According to the school, the incident happened at the end of school hours. At that time, due to heavy rain, about 25 students and 2 teachers had not yet returned home, waiting for their parents to pick up their children.

The incident happened under the witness of many teachers and students, causing confusion, fear, affecting the security and order of the school.

According to the leaders of Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School, the actions of Ha Van Thuy's parents have caused outrage among the school's teachers. After the incident, the school filed a report to the Tan Thang Commune Police (Quynh Luu District) and requested the police to investigate and strictly handle the case according to the law.
