When the rice harvest season arrives, the vast rice fields become more vibrant than ever, with golden rice stalks swaying gently in the breeze, creating a poetic and enchanting scene. At this time, the farmers seem to be working diligently to harvest the fruits of a year's labor. The sight of people working in the fields, sometimes alongside buffaloes plowing, creates a picture of labor filled with emotion. It seems that at this time of year, everyone, from travel enthusiasts to nature lovers, flocks to the area, vying to capture unforgettable moments amidst the ripening rice.

People in Trung Khanh district are harvesting rice in the fields. In many fields, farmers still mainly use hand sickles and foot-operated threshing machines to harvest.

The harvest season here is as bustling as in other rural areas. People head to the fields, their calls, the barking of dogs, the laughter of children, the threshing of rice, the crowing of roosters, the singing of birds, the rustling of leaves in the wind… all blending together.

The scent of freshly harvested rice, the familiar aroma of straw, lulled me into a peaceful sleep in my mother's rice fields.

The harvest season in Chongqing presents idyllic, peaceful rural scenes with fragrant bundles of sticky rice hanging in front of houses, haystacks piled around homes and in the fields, and clumps of bamboo casting shadows by the stream… Tourists can visit Chongqing at many times of the year. However, the most beautiful time is autumn, from September to October, when the rice ripens. Autumn is also the season when photographers flock to Chongqing to "hunt for photos," exploring the pristine beauty and peaceful life of this tranquil countryside. In 2024,
the "Happy Vietnam" photo and video contest will continue to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website.
