This was the title of a seminar organized by the Phu Tho Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association on August 11th to evaluate the results after one year of implementing the "Godmother" program and to award prizes to children with outstanding academic achievements in the 2023-2024 school year.
"Godmother - Lighting up dreams"
Báo Phụ nữ Việt Nam•19/11/2024With the motto "Children always have a mother," after more than a year of implementing the "Godmother" program, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has sponsored 20 orphaned children with a total budget of over 600 million VND through various forms such as: giving one-time savings accounts, providing monthly financial support ranging from 500,000 to 1,000,000 VND/month until the children reach 18 years old.

At the seminar, delegates heard stories and real-life experiences shared by the godmothers about their journey of accompanying and caring for the children, and the joy and happiness the children felt when they had godmothers from the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association as their mentors. The loving embrace of the godmothers helped the children gain more motivation to overcome difficulties and strive for a better life.
The Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association awarded prizes to 5 sponsored children who achieved the title of excellent student or advanced student, and 15 children who showed effort in their studies.
On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, and the Women Entrepreneurs Club of Doan Hung District presented gifts to the children for the new school year.
