Lang Son has achieved many achievements in socio-economic development.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Nguyen Quoc Doan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee and comrades in the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, presented a report on the situation and results of 40 years of implementing the Party's innovation policy in the locality; the implementation of socio-economic development tasks during the 13th National Congress; the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; and orientations for continued innovation through the province's practices in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Lang Son province over 40 years of implementing the renovation policy; Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution of the 17th National Party Congress of the province.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu emphasized: Lang Son Provincial Party Committee has taken advantage of opportunities, overcome many difficulties and challenges, thoroughly grasped and implemented the Party's innovation policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and led the government and people of the province to strive to achieve many positive results: The economy has grown quite high, the economic structure has shifted positively; the average income per capita in 2023 reached 59.8 million VND, an increase of 14 times compared to 1996; culture and society have many progressive changes; national defense, security, and foreign affairs have been strengthened, territorial sovereignty, borders, political security, and social order and safety have been maintained.

Especially in the past 3 years, despite the fluctuating environment, especially the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the province has made many efforts to maintain an average GRDP growth rate of 6.98%.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu also pointed out some limitations and difficulties of the province in some key areas of operation, suggesting some issues that the Provincial Party Standing Committee needs to focus on leading and directing implementation.

The Working Group recorded and synthesized the recommendations of the Province to report to the Document Subcommittee of the 14th National Party Congress.
