Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, endeavors, and achievements of the Party Committee, government, and people of Lang Son province over the past 40 years in implementing the reform policy; the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.
Comrade Tran Cam Tu emphasized: The Lang Son Provincial Party Committee has seized opportunities, overcome many difficulties and challenges, thoroughly implemented the Party's reform guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations, leading the provincial government and people to strive for many positive results: The economy has grown at a relatively high rate, the economic structure has shifted positively; per capita income in 2023 reached 59.8 million VND, a 14-fold increase compared to 1996; culture and society have seen many progressive changes; national defense, security, and foreign relations have been strengthened, and territorial sovereignty , borders, political security, and social order and safety have been maintained.

Particularly in the last three years, despite a volatile environment, especially the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the province has made great efforts to maintain an average GRDP growth rate of 6.98%.
Comrade Tran Cam Tu also pointed out some limitations and difficulties of the province in some key areas of activity, suggesting some issues that the Provincial Party Standing Committee needs to focus on leading and directing the implementation of.
The Working Group noted and compiled the province's recommendations to report to the Subcommittee on Documents for the 14th Party Congress.
