Phu Lan village of Quang Vu district, province Northern Ninh, which has existed for more than 700 years with extremely sophisticated ceramic products famous throughout the country, became one of the oldest craft villages in Vietnam.

Phù Lãng pottery has its own characteristics, namely brown, black-brown, pale gold, golden-brown porcelain yeast, which according to the ceramicists is called deerskin yeast. 
When the clay was brought back, it had to be exposed to silver and then mixed with a mixture of earthenware, crushed into small pebbles using one's thumb, and soaked in water. The pottery village of Phu Long is that the villagers used a floating moulding method in the form of stone carving, also known as double etching; natural colored enamel, durable; shapes of rustic but robust pottery, sculpture creating various forms. 
The material of Phú Lăng pottery is made from the "bone" of pink earth taken from Thống Vát, Cung Khiêm (Northern Jiang). 
Each finished pottery product goes through a series of stages from laying the earth, shaping it, cutting into moulds, sculpting, firing, joining. . involving many people. 
More than a decade ago, Fu Long's pottery village was in danger of collapse. But now, with more than 200 kilns burning continuously, the craft village has been revived. For the potter, earning a living is precious, so despite hard work, the love for craftsmanship hasn't changed.
