According to the plan, the first U11 Football Tournament - Dak Nong Newspaper Cup is expected to take place in late May and early June 2025, with 8 teams from 8 districts and cities participating. The players participating are primary school students, born from 2014 onwards; ensuring academic standards, conduct and health. The matches are organized in the format of 5-a-side mini football.

Dak Nong Marathon 2025 - Conquering the Southern Central Highlands is an event within the series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21); aiming to welcome the 13th Dak Nong Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The event contributes to promoting the image of Dak Nong land and people; responding to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" among the masses, contributing to improving health to serve study, work, production, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

The award also aims to mobilize the community's support and contributions to give gifts and houses to households with housing difficulties and the poor in the province with a total estimated value of about 300 million VND.

The tournament has a scale of 4,000 athletes participating in distances of 2km (Kids run); 5km, 10km, 21km, 42km; taking place in Gia Nghia City, Dak Nong Province from May 31 to June 1, 2025.

Currently, the Organizing Committee has opened the competition registration portal at the website: https://actiup.net/vi/event/dak-nongmarathon-2025. The registration portal is open from February 7-28, 2025.

At the signing ceremony, the two sides agreed to sign a contract to organize Dak Nong Marathon 2025 - Conquering the Southern Central Highlands and the U11 Football Tournament - Dak Nong Newspaper Cup for the first time in 2025.

Accordingly, the two units will accompany and support each other to organize the tournament. In particular, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for presiding over the development of tournament regulations, supporting professional work in arranging the competition schedule as well as legal procedures and preparing the best and necessary facilities to organize the tournament.

Dak Nong Newspaper is responsible for coordinating, legal procedures, and funding for organizing the tournament; directly presiding over contacting agencies, departments, and localities to coordinate in organizing the tournament; strengthening communication and promoting the tournament.
